Mini Deep Dish Pizzas

So J and I have spent a lot of time in the kitchen today and one of the many things we made were these delicious mini deep dish pizzas. Inspired by a recipe from Martha Stewart. 

There are not the most beautiful things but boy were they good. :)

I spent all afternoon sewing and have to say I am super proud of my finished product. :)

What Do You Get When...

What do you get when you have these two sets of adorable fabric, a sewing machine, and these instructions?

This fabric is by far my favorite, think I may be attempting a quilt in the near future.

I don't know...hopefully something that at least slightly resembles the picture from the website. ;) I will post the finished product later.

More Adorable Hair Flowers

So I really like this one, it is my first attempt at using feathers.

  I really like how it looks in hair. :) Overall a success don't you think?

Red Velvet Cake Balls

This last year for Christmas one of my adorable students gave me some yummy cake balls. I had never seen them before and until a couple days ago hadn't seen them again. I ran across this recipe and of course had to try to make them for myself.

They are super easy and delicious. I can't say mine are as cute as these but hey, I am learning right?!

Homemade Bagels

I love bagels and so I decided to make some homemade ones from this recipe I found. They kind of take forever to make but they are totally worth it.

Not the the most beautiful things I have ever made, but hey it was my first time and I must say they were delicious. Especially with strawberry cream cheese. 

Snickerdoodle Cupcakes

I have been staying at my parents for the last couple days while they are out of town and have been using my Mom's Kitchenaid, and I must say I am in love. Thanks Mom!! :)

So I love anything made with cinnamon, it is kind of my weakness. When I saw this recipe for Snickerdoodle Cupcakes I just had to make them.

I must say, not too shabby for my first time making cupcakes from scratch. :)
