Scrapbooking Addict

Somehow time comes and goes so fast and I realize again that is has been far too long since I last posted on my blog. I really can't figure out how people have the time to keep up on a blog. I can't seem to figure it out. Maybe one day I will!

This is my craft blog and I haven't done a ton of crafting lately but I did start making cards with my Mom last week and lets just say she may have created an addict. After spending the day with my mom I went out and spent tons of money on scrapbooking supplies. Now I have everything from cricut cartridges to we r memory keepers sew ribbons (adorable) sitting on my floor in my room. My roommates already think I am crazy I think this just fuels that flame. 

My first project is to be to find a scrapbooking storage solution then I am going to whip out my cricut and get to work. I want to do a vinyl saying for my classroom and then I am going to make some cute cards to give as gifts. I will have to post some of my work as soon as I am done. Wish me luck! Hopefully I don't get buried underneath all these scrapbooking supplies.

Pinterest Changes Everything!

It has been awhile since I have posted anything. I have several cute things that I found on Pinterest (which is amazing by the way, if you haven't checked it out do it!) that I am making for people for Christmas and when they are completed and have been given I will post them.

Mini Deep Dish Pizzas

So J and I have spent a lot of time in the kitchen today and one of the many things we made were these delicious mini deep dish pizzas. Inspired by a recipe from Martha Stewart. 

There are not the most beautiful things but boy were they good. :)

Cute Reversible Purse

I spent all afternoon sewing and have to say I am super proud of my finished product. :)

What Do You Get When...

What do you get when you have these two sets of adorable fabric, a sewing machine, and these instructions?

This fabric is by far my favorite, think I may be attempting a quilt in the near future.

I don't know...hopefully something that at least slightly resembles the picture from the website. ;) I will post the finished product later.

More Adorable Hair Flowers

So I really like this one, it is my first attempt at using feathers.

  I really like how it looks in hair. :) Overall a success don't you think?
